Your First Visit

What Can I Expect During My First Visit?

During the first visit, you will have the opportunity to express your health concerns and goals and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to your health and NUCCA care. A thorough evaluation of your health history will be gathered and Dr. Mike will complete a comprehensive physical exam consisting of the following evaluations:

Leg Length Measurement. Unequal leg length is a common sign of the presence of the Atlas Subluxation Complex.

Anatometer Posture Evaluation. The Anatometer Posture Measuring Device was created exclusively for NUCCA doctors and is used in less than 30 offices world-wide. The presence of the Atlas Subluxation Complex places the body in an imbalanced posture which is measureable and quantifiable by using this device.

sEMG and Thermography. These tests measure heat differences and nervous system activity and are a strong indicator of compromised nervous system function.

Once these tests are performed, the results give a complete picture of the functional state of your spine and nervous system. The presence of the Atlas Subluxation Complex means your body is not working properly; this is a very serious problem that is affecting your present and long-term quality of health.

Specialized Head and Neck X-Rays. In order to correct the ASC to remove postural distortion and restore optimal nervous system function, a series of specialized head and neck x-rays will be taken and analyzed in the office to determine your unique formula so Dr. Mike knows exactly how to correct your spine.

NUCCA Spinal Correction.  Once your unique misalignment formula is known, Dr. Mike will apply a gentle and specific NUCCA Spinal Correction.  All NUCCA spinal corrections are done by hand from the upper neck to align the entire spine.  There is no forceful twisting, cracking or popping necessary when precisely correcting spinal misalignment.

Comfirmatory Post-Correction Exams.  Immediately after the first NUCCA Spinal Correction, the leg length measurement and Anatometer posture evaluation are repeated.  Two post-correction x-rays are taken and analyzed to note the amount of correction achieved. Postural and radiological changes are noted right after the first correction.
